About Troop 194
|
- 1. Our charter organization is The Church of Holy Spirit
- located at 1451 Bode Road, Schaumburg, IL 60194
|
|
- 2. Our Troop meetings are held at the Church
- on the second and fourth Sundays of the month at 6:30pm.
- The Patrol Leaders Council meets one hour prior to the Troop meeting
|
|
- 3. The Patrol meetings
- occur as breakout sessions within the semi-monthly Troop meetings.
|
|
- 4. We have Troop meetings every month except July and August
|
|
- 5. We go to summer camp at Camp Napowan
- every year during the last full week in July.
|
|
- 6. We have either a day outing or a weekend camp outing every month.
|
|
- 7. We participate in several community service projects throughout the year.
|
|
- 8. Over the last 10 years 25% of the Webelos
- who crossed over into Troop 194 earned their Eagle Rank.
|
|
- 9. We have three Courts of Honor each year
- to celebrate the accomplishments of our Scouts.
|
|
- 10. We have three fundraisers every year:
- Market Day, holiday wreath and popcorn sale, and a food booth at Septemberfest.
